“In Tuting, we deeply cherish our agricultural roots by celebrating Sonampa Losar, the Farmer’s New Year, on the 1st day of the 12th month of the lunar calendar. This special occasion marks a time of gratitude and renewal, where the community comes together to honor the hard work of farmers and the bountiful harvests that sustain our way of life.”

Birthday Celebration

Tibetan language mid-term exam

We conduct Tibetan language mid-term exams, and students enthusiastically participate, showcasing their best efforts. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated teachers for their hard work, guidance, and unwavering support. Their commitment greatly enhances the learning experience. We want to express wholehearted appreciation to the students for their diligence and enthusiasm in mastering the Tibetan language.

The visit of Khenchen Jamyang Tsering to Tuting Monastery on September 26, 2024, was a deeply auspicious event, inspired by Khen Rinpoche Tsering Dorjee guidance. Over 16 transformative days, Khenchen Jamyang Tsering immersed himself in the monastery, devoting his compassion and wisdom to the shedra students. His teachings bridged traditional texts with modern insights, covering the curriculum of junior and senior Tantra classes, with special focus on the profound Secret Essence Guhyagarbha Tantra.

He delivered detailed oral transmissions and explanations, nurturing the students’ understanding of Tantra’s spiritual and philosophical depths. Additionally, he generously shared recitations, including the Heart Essence (Nyingthig) liturgies, which are integral to the monastery’s daily practices, helping students connect their learning with inner devotion.

Khenchen Jamyang Tsering’s presence and teachings left a lasting impact on the monastery, inspiring both students and faculty. His kindness and dedication enriched the spiritual life of the community, and the echoes of his wisdom will guide and uplift for years to come.
