Monastery Project
The Charitable work of Pema Mani Charitable Trust started with the construction of a Monastery cum Cultural center and the establishment of Pema Mani monastic School, Museum, library, and Tibetan herbal medical clinic at Tuting, Upper Siang District, Arunachal Pradesh.
Religious Teachings
In the fourth month of the lunar calendar that is called “SAGA DAWA” Pema Mani Charitable Trust encourage and sponsor local people to take part and observe a week-long fasting and Pujas within the monastery campus and all the villagers living nearby……
Old Age Home
Pema mani Charitable Trust also runs and look after old age home for old and destitute seniors, who do not have anybody to look and take care of them due to various circumstances. Their needs for proper health care and basic needs for a living are taken care of by the Trust.
Mani Dungkhor (Prayer Wheels)
Pema Mani Charitable Trust constructed a hall housing five giant prayer wheels containing billions of sacred mantra, where people of all ages come to turn the wheels and reap the benefits of accumulating good merit as well as some physical activities also.
Stupas
Pema mani charitable trust constructed a cluster of 13 Stupas with the footpath (pradakhshina) and green landscape for the benefit of devotees, who come for circumambulation of the stupas. These stupas are special hemispherical and geometrical symbols (figure) …

Health And Sanitation Initiatives
Pema Mani Charitable Trust constructed two buildings for public toilet/latrine to minimize the rush and long queues of the public during cultural fete and other ceremonies, each building furnished with 10 room western-style toilet with separate urinals, washbasins, and mirrors. Read More
Environmental Activity
In the year 2018 Pema Mani Charitable Trust continued its work of planting trees and bamboos by the bank of river Siang and developing of land in monastery’s compound has begun with the planting of grass, decorative trees, and flowers. This is a long and ongoing project and it may continue for many more years. We highly encourage the involvement of local communities in such projects. Read More
